Best Apple Pie Recipe



We made a few recipes and created our very own so you can enjoy it too. This recipe has less sugar.. so feel free to add a little more as per your taste buds.


For the crust --> its a a basic crust.. it makes 2 disks so I would make it at least 1- 2 hours ahead.


  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 16 tablespoons (2 sticks) cold unsalted butter, cut into pieces

  • 1/2 cup ice water

Some sites say to use a a blender.. but i found it easier to do it by hand or it will get too flaky. So just add everything together and mix away until it becomes soft then place it in the fridge covered.


For the Filling -->

  • 6 apples

  • 1 Bottle of Bellybees Apple Puree

  • 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon Power

  • 8 Tbsp unsalted butter

  • 3 Tbsp Flour

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1 Tbsp of Vanilla

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 egg + 1 Tbsp water + 1 Tbsp Sugar for egg wash

Melt the butter on a saucepan add sugar, water, Bellybees Apple Puree and flour whisk continuously for about a minute, take it off the stove and let it cool.


Clean, core and cut the apples. mix in vanilla and cinnamon together with the sauce you just made.


Roll out one crust dough with a help of flour on the surface. (so it wont stick to anything. Then place it on a 8 inch round pan after buttering the surface. (Make sure the dough is handing out a little until the pie is filled.


Pour in all the mixed apples and place the seconded rolled our dough as seen above (cut it into strips and make it look pretty :) ) honestly if you don't want to do this.. just cover it up and make a few holes..


Bake on 425 F preheated oven for 20 Minutes (on the middle rack) then reduce the heat to 325F and bake it for 45 Minutes.
